Oral Health Tips & Instructions
Proper oral care does not stop at a visit to the dentist.
Daily oral hygiene, careful care of restorations such as implants and dentures, and compliance with postoperative instructions are crucial for the health and success of any treatment.
Daily Oral Hygiene
For a healthy mouth and teeth that last, follow a few simple but critical habits:
Brush your teeth at least twice a day, with a soft toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste.
Use dental floss or interdental brushes daily.
Avoid overconsumption of sugar and acidic foods.
Have a professional cleaning and inspection every 6 months.

Denture Care
Dentures (full or partial) require daily care for a healthy mouth and proper function:
Clean your dentures with a special brush and soap, not with toothpaste.
At night, leave it in a glass with a special cleaner or clean water.
Brush your gums/other teeth as well, even if you wear full dentures.
Visit the dentist if you experience pain, loosening, or difficulty speaking/chewing.
Dental Implant Care
Dental implants need daily care just like natural teeth:
Brushing twice a day with a special implant brush or a soft classic brush.
Cleaning with special threads (super floss) or interdental brushes for the area around the implant.
Avoid smoking – it negatively affects the healing and longevity of the implant.
Regular check-ups at the office to assess the health of the gums around the implant.
